THE
SUSTAINABILITY
PROJECT

“We use tons of cardboard shuttles in the building. A way to reduce cost and waste, is by conserving our resources.”

NASC ACES & ACES Operations — Earth Day Shuttle Initiative

EUG5 HAS PARTNERED WITH THE WEST-CANADA NASC sites. The goal of this project was to create a more circular environment at EUG5 by down cycling reusable shuttles into our sites current processes. For details on how we achieved this, watch our Broadcast video created by our PA, Taylor Montgomery, and featuring our EUG5 Leadership Team.

As a RESULT of the project,
our site is on track to:

  • Reduce 420 tons of cardboard

  • Save over 7,000 trees

  • Conserve 1.4 million gallons of water

  • Decrease costs by over $550,000 annually

Success and Scale Bring Broad Responsibility

We challenge all sites not currently reusing and recycling shuttles to pirate the EUG5 CI Project by May 31st. NASC ACES is in the process of creating standard Work content in START to implement recycling reusable shuttles as network expectation. As a RESULT, adopting this process on or after June 1st, 2023, will no longer be eligible for CI projects submission.
